At Klein & Co Inc., we’re fanatics about all things terrazzo. With over 50 years experience in the business, we not only sell virtually everything you may need for a terrazzo floor installation–we also have a lot of knowledge to share! So when we started getting requests for training and demos from contractors for the full line of Terrco equipment and Reliable Diamond Tooling accessories, we listened to the feedback and began our new On-Site Demos & Training service. Every terrazzo installation is different, and choosing the right equipment is critical to keeping a project on track–as is knowing how to use it properly. Scheduling a training session with us gives you a chance to get one-on-one feedback for your specific installation project needs, as well as hands-on equipment experience and full demonstrations. Because of our training technician’s experience and familiarity with our full range of equipment and accessories, we’re able to give recommendations on your client’s eventual maintenance needs as well as what you’ll need for initial installation.
Even if you’re new to terrazzo installation altogether, we’re happy to help show you the ropes. We highly recommend calling us directly about the type of training you’re interested in, because we like to tailor our training and demos to fit specific needs. Let us know if there are any unusual areas you might need specific help with so that we can design training to be maximally effective.
When you’re travelling for an onsite training, local accommodations are available, and we typically provide lunch and dinner if you’ll be staying overnight or for multiple sessions. We provide all materials, machinery, and training manuals for your needs. Depending on your specific requirements, we offer 1-3 day training classes. Cost varies depending on training duration, number of topics covered, and number of trainees.
Because these sessions are best when they’re very personal and hands-on, we recommend groups of no more than 4 at a time.
In addition to our ongoing requested demos and trainings, we arrange 2-3 training seminars throughout the year you may want to attend. These are typically collaborative trainings offered with the National Terrazzo Mosaic Association (or NTMA), which we’re proud to be members of. These trainings are held at our facilities and often allow participating contractors to acquire certificates of completion from the NTMA.
